About educational program “Prospective Vehicles”

Thousands of specialists work at creation of a modern automobile. Great changes are expected at this area in the next 30 years. Our program provides a comprehensive engineering training.

Students get acquainted with all aspects of creation of a modern vehicle, learn to design and explore automobiles, to use in practice the methods of various fields of knowledge, to think in a creative way and to work efficiently in a team.

During their studies all the students take part in various engineering projects. The tasks in the projects are set up in the area of development of the future specialist, while the best of them participate in joint projects on the orders from automotive companies and in international student competitions. In our educational program we study all the parts and systems of a modern car, electric cars, cars with hybrid power installations. The CAD software is widely used. We also pay much attention at the issues of operation and maintenance of modern vehicles. During their practical course at the leading automotive enterprises of Russia the students will get acquainted with today’s manufacturing process, will be able to take part in introduction tours to industrial enterprises of Europe. Internships at the leading European universities are practiced on the regular basis as well.
