Igor I. Koltunov – Scientific Secretary
Born on December 14, 1947 in Moscow. In 1971 graduated from Moscow Automotive Mechanical Institute with a qualification of an engineer in automation of technological processes and production. In 1975, having finished the post-graduate course, defended his thesis for a Ph.D. (Eng).
Has been working in MAMI (at present – the Moscow Poly) since 1971, starting from the position of an engineer, later an assistant, an Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department. Simultaneously had responsibilities of Deputy Dean, Dean, Director of Educational and Methodic Department, Vice-Rector for the Evening and Correspondence Learning, First Vice-Rector. Currently is Head of Department “Information Systems and Technologies”.
In 1997 Igor I. Koltunov was awarded the scientific title of a Professor. In 2001 was elected a Member of the Academy of Quality Problems. In 2007 he defended his thesis of a Doctor of Sciences.
During his work at the university trained and gave way to the higher education to more than a thousand specialists. Published around 180 scientific papers and manuals, including 6 monographies and 3 textbooks.
Igor I. Koltunov is a scientific tutor for research works that are carried out in the framework of the Federal Target Program. He has the government and industry awards. Was awarded the honorary titles “The Merited Labourer of the Higher School of the Russian Federation”, “The Honored Labourer of the Higher Education of the Russian Federation” and “The Honored Labourer of the University”, the Labour Veteran.
