Igor V. Soppa – Vice-President for International Affairs

Born on December 5, 1960 in the city of Dzhambul of the Kazakh SSR.

In 1983 graduated from Far Eastern State University with a degree in specialty “Physics”, received the qualification “Physicist. Teacher of Physics”.

1983 – 1985 – Head of laboratory at the Department of Hydro Physics of Far Eastern State University (FESU).

1985 – 1988 – Post-graduate student of the full-time education at the Faculty of Physics at FESU.

1988 – 2007 – Assistant, Senior Teacher, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Electronics at FESU.

1996 – 2011 – Head of the Department of Electronics at FESU.

1997 – 2007 – Dean of the Faculty of IT, Deputy Director at the Institute of Physics and Information Technologies at FESU.

2007 – 2010 – Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work at FESU, Professor at the Department of Electronics.

2010 – 2012 – Deputy Vice-President for Academic and Educational Work of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), Professor at the Department of Computer Systems.

2012 – 2015 – Vice-President for Academic and Educational Work at FEFU, Professor at the Department of Computer Systems.

2016 – Expert of the National Foundation for Personnel Training (NFPT).

2016 – 2018 – Deputy Chief of the branch of NVMU (Vladivostok President’s Cadet School) for innovative educational technologies.

Ph.D. (Physics and Mathematics) (1989), Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics (1995), Honorary Labourer of Higher Professional Education (2009).
