About educational program “Security of Prospective Information Systems”

For the past 10 years my specialization has been the technologies of searching and processing information in natural language and their application in the area of computer security. This sphere attracts me because it requires perfection both in humanities and technical disciplines. There are very few specialists with such a qualification, while demand for them keeps growing, since more and more information in the natural language needs analysis, structuring, evaluation and protection.

Analysis of unstructured information will be the next trend after “Big Data” (the automated analysis of information of a typical format, as a rule, stored in databases).

Information systems of the future will be able to understand the human language and conduct a dialogue in it much faster than we think. Very soon computer systems in automated industrial facilities, as well as in household and business devices, connected to the Internet of Things, will be able to take decisions on their own, and their role both in provision of information security and creation of new types of threats will grow, based on artificial intelligence and the communication system “machine-machine”.

Our program is aimed at training specialists, having initial experience of security analysis and protection of critically important and most valuable information systems and data from the threats to become relevant next decades.

At the end of the training the graduate gets a unique advantage – real practical skills, passed over to him by practicing teachers from the leading companies. This will allow the young expert not only to compete at the labor market, but also to become a founder of his own startup.
