Professional experience:

— From 1975 to 2014 worked at the Bauman MSTU: an engineer, a post-graduate student, Senior teacher, Associate Professor.

— 1983-1987 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty “Instrument Engineering”.

— Associate Professor at Department “Information Technologies” of the Moscow State University of Printing Arts named after Ivan Fedorov, Head of Laboratory for electronic publishing technologies (1996-2004); Professor at Department “Media Systems and Technologies”, Head of creative workshop “Computer Linguistics and Semiotics” (2008-2012).

— Since 2003 an expert of the Education and Methodology Association of universities for university polytechnic education. Since 2005 member of Education and Methodology Union in specialty “Automated Systems for Information Processing and Management” and the direction “Information Systems”, Deputy Chairman of Education and Methodology Union in specialty “Information technologies in education”.

— Since 2012 an expert of the Foundation for Assistance to Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Science and Technology Area; an expert of Direction for scientific and technical progress in the Federal Targeted Program “Research and development in priority directions of development of the Russian science and technology complex for 2014-2020”.

— Science tutor and consultant for 12 post-graduate students, who have successfully defended their theses.

— Founder and Head of the scientific school “Information Technologies of Semiotics”. Scientific leader of the Internet resource “Science and education cluster of computer linguistics, artificial intelligence and multimedia” (HOK CLAIM).

— Author (co-author) of over 130 scientific publications. Among them: 28 teaching and methodological works, including 5 learning manuals; 5 scientific monographs, 2 dictionary editions.

Area of scientific interests:

 — Since 1989 he is the leader and participant of many research and development works, science and education and publishing projects.

— 1989-1996- carried out works at the order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR (jointly with the Russian Research Institute for Space Instrument Engineering, the Lavochkin SPA, Research Institute for Aviation and Space Medicine).

— 1995-2000 – implemented works on creation of new information technologies for preservation and efficient use of the hand-written Ancient Russian files and the Dictionary of the Russian language of XI-XVII centuries (in the framework of the UNESCO project “Historical Memory of Russia”, jointly with the V.V. Vinogradov Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Informatics Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov MSU, Russian Research Institute of Information Technologies, the Russian State Library).

— 2001-2008 – works for the printed and electronic reprints of the six-volume Dictionary of the Russian Academy of 1879-1894 (the publishing project of the Moscow Humanitarian Institute named after E.R.Dashkova, science grants of the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation).

— 1996-2010 – work for creation of information systems for support of research in the area of psycho-linguistics and formal modeling of cognitive processes (jointly with the Institute of Linguistics of the RAS, Moscow State Linguistic University, the V.V. Vinogradov Institute for the Russian Language on the science grants from the Russian Humanitarian Scientific Foundation and the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research, within the Federal Targeted Programs of the Ministry for Education and Science of the RF).

— Since 1996 the member of the leading scientific school of the Russian Federation “The Russian language personality”, Head of direction “Information and cognitive technologies for the verbal conscience modeling”.

— 2004 – 2010 – the works in development of the State educational standards in the new specialties and the Federal educational standards for the two-level education system within the direction “2300400 – information systems and technologies” (in the Federal Targeted Programs of the Ministry for Education and Science of the RF).
