Evgeniya Yu. Sviridova Educational program: “Technospheric Security” About Higher education in specialty “Environmental Engineering”, an engineer-ecologist, Ph.D. (Engineering). Associate Professor at Department “Environmental Safety of Technical Systems”, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology, developer of project documentation at LLC “UniversalStroy”, an independent expert at Department for Nature Management and Environment Protection of the Moscow City. When challenged by the issue of profession choice, I set up as priorities an interesting sphere for activity, decent salary and prospects for self-realization, but I also thought about making people’s life more comfortable and safer. Working as Head of the educational program “Technospheric Security” and dealing with the sphere of environmental safety, and would like to emphasize that demand for specialists in ecology and labor safety has been growing. According to the “Atlas of new professions”, developed with the support of the Agency of Strategic Initiatives, in the coming decade the labor market will show demand for such professions as an environmental analyst in construction, a transport network safety engineer, an eco-recycler in metallurgy, an integrated safety auditor in industry, an expert in overcoming environmental disasters. In order to provide that the students of the training direction “Technospheric Security” receive the higher education, responding to requirements of the modern standards and society, I strive to professional development: work on projects, take part in expertise, maintain my links to the industry, publish research works, improve my qualification. While building the educational process, I am guided by the principle “teach thinking, not thoughts”. Therefore, the students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills of practical work, and, as well, become highly qualified specialists in the area of reducing the negative impact of enterprises on the environment, in providing comfortable conditions on workplaces and in production safety.
