Valeriy Avdeev has higher education in the specialty “Automation and Complex Mechanization of Mechanical Engineering”, Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor. He was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

I have been interested in machine tools with CNC since my student days. In 1971 I was passing a practical course at the Tashkent Aviation Plant, which was a producer of the largest aircrafts “AN-22 Antey”. The parts for the aircrafts were manufactured at the 5-axis machine tools with CNC, perfect for that time.

Modern CNC machining complexes are the equipment, many orders of magnitude higher in terms of its constructive and intellectual capabilities, compared to the equipment of that time. They are equipped with a big number of diagnostic systems, and this allows to carry out the work in the “deserted” technology with the minimum human participation.
