Elena Krutinina has higher education in the specialty “Machines and Technologies of Processing of Materials by Pressure”, Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor of Department “Materials Processing by Pressure and Additive Technologies”.

Theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of processing the materials by pressure, obtained at the university, helps to get oriented in all the form-building technologies. Elena Krutinina received the title of an engineer in 1999, and already in 2003 I defended the dissertation for Ph.D. (Engineering) degree. The scientific potential of the Department allows to defend Master, Ph.D. and Doctor theses at a high level. Since 2000 participates in the educational process of training engineers, Bachelors and Masters. The theme of a legal and social protection of students is especially important, since in 2008-2011 Elena Krutinina worked as Deputy Dean, and since 2011 I have been Head of Department for educational and methodological work.

The area of processing the materials with pressure is multi-faceted and interesting. The graduates know how to model in 3D, calculate technological processes by means of computer modeling, visualize the work of equipment and automated complexes, they work at hundreds of enterprises of Russia, related to engineering, aircraft- and shipbuilding, manufacture of household appliances. There is not a single mechanism without a part, made by pressure treatment.
