Aleksey Ponomarev has higher education in the specialty “Machines and Technologies of Foundry Production”, Ph.D. (Engineering) in the specialty “Technical Aesthetics and Design”, Associate Professor, responsible for academic affairs at Department “Machines and Technology of Foundry Production” named after Petr N. Aksenov.

The teaching experience amounts to over 12 years. Aleksey Ponomarev has trained more than thirty specialists and Bachelors, works as a curator at student projects. Introduces actively new disciplines and teaching methodology into the educational process, takes an active part in development of new versions of curricula.

For three years actively participated in developing methodological support and conducting master classes on the early professional orientation  for Moscow schoolchildren.

The author of 20 research works, and issued 5 methodological manuals, received a certificate for registration of an electronic resource.

Worked as Head of an R&D work “A complex method of designing, casting and heat treatment of bells with specified acoustic properties”, which won the first place at the innovative salon of industrial property “Archimedes-2013” in nomination “Innovative potential of Moscow youth”.
