Students will learn how to design flexible production on the basis of automated lines with periodic changeover for processing or assembling of the next nomenclature of products. They will apply the methods of selection and calculation of the necessary quantity of special technological equipment and equipment used in flexible automated production. Students will be able to make calculations and plan the robotic technological complexes. They will calculate the main indicators of machine-assembly shops of modern machine-building enterprises. Students will apply knowledge in modernizing technological processes at the plants to obtain billets and machining, the characteristics of the equipment used, the nomenclature and materials of the cutting tools, the design features and the operation of the working (clamping) and measuring devices. They will apply the fundamentals of the technology of automated processing and assembly of machines in the practical implementation of technological processes, choose rational and high-performance methods of processing and assembly, choose methods and means of control, use methods to assess the technological assurance of the reliability of assembled products.
