Dmitriy Burtsev has higher education in the specialty “Technical Aesthetics and Design”, Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor of Center for Project Activity, Head of Laboratory “Casting processes”, Consultant on obtaining engineering parts from alloys and plastics by means of molding methods at the “Student Design Bureau” of the Moscow Poly, a body atelier “Cardi” of the company “AVIA-CONCEPT”, specializing in design of aircrafts, helicopters, aviation equipment.

The winner of the contest “Innovative potential of Moscow youth”, the author of more than ten publications in the peer-reviewed journals of the Higher Certification Commission. The teaching experience is 6 years. Dmitriy Burtsev has trained over twenty specialists and Bachelors, works as a curator at student projects, among which there are the winners of Olympiads and contests at the all-Russian exhibitions and conferences on the direction “Materials Art Processing Technology”.

Over the past few years Dmitriy Burtsev has been actively trying to introduce modern technologies for production of engineering, jewelry and artistic castings into the educational process on the educational program “Materials Art Processing Technology”.

Works with modern domestic and foreign CAD/CAE/CAM systems (T-flex, NX 10) and programs for creation of industrial and jewelry design objects (Rhinoceros 5, Matrix 8 and Zbrush 4R7).
