About

Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor. Graduated with honors from MSIU in specialty “Automation of Technological Processes and Production in Mechanical Engineering”, Department “Automation, Informatics and Control Systems” (full-time form of study).

Did post-graduate course at Department “Automation, Informatics and Control Systems”. In 2012 successfully defended Ph.D. thesis in the area of intelligent robotics. Continues research work and supervises educational project in robotics. Since 2012 is Head of a schoolchildren and students’ club in robotics.

Research interest

Automation and robotization of technological processes.

Participation in exhibitions and contests:

- Exhibitions “Scientific and Technical Creative Activities of Young People” 2008-2014;

- Contest of the “Autodesk” company “Give a shape to the future 2014”;

- Contest for the right to receive the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the support of the young Ph.D. scientists 2014-2016;

- Exhibition “Archimedes 2014”.

Olympiads, exhibitions and contests, preparation of schoolchildren and students to which Mr. Arkhipov supervises:

- Regional educational project “Robolaboratories 2014-2015”;

- The Moscow Team Robotics Olympiad (the Moscow stage of the “World Robot Olympiad “WRO-2015”);

- CROC robotics championship for schoolchildren “Robot for Life “2013-2015;

- All-Russian contest of scientific and technical and artistic school projects “The Space is near by 2015, 2016”;

- WorldSkills Russia professional skills championships (2016, 2017). The competence “Industrial Robotics”

Published around 60 research articles and is a co-author of 10 research works and 15 patents.

Currently works at Department “Automation and Control” at Moscow Polytechnic University in a position of Associate Professor. Conducts the disciplines, related to robotics and automation. Works at the university since 2004.

R&D, project-based activity

- The grant: Investigation of the impact of expansion of ergonomic functions in the service manipulation robotics on its efficiency 2016-2017.

- The grant: development and investigation of a biotechnical management system for manipulation robots for the massage physiotherapy 2014-2015.
