Oleg Bavykin has higher education in the specialty “Standardization and Metrology in Machine Building”, Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor of Department “Standardization, Metrology and Certification”, laureate of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation.

The author of a number of scientific and educational works on issues of modernization of the measuring equipment and application of information technologies in providing metrology for machine building.

The educational program is aimed at formation of the following skills:

- computer processing of measurement results;

- carrying out measurements on modern measuring equipment (including in the area of nano technologies);

- organization of metrological support for production with application of information technologies;

- conducting software attestation;

- working in modern electronic information-and-legal systems;

- development of norm-setting documents;

- conducting of expert examination of technical documentation.
