Graduated from Moscow State Academy of Automotive and Tractor Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) in specialty “Machines and Technology of Metals Processing by Pressure”. In 1999 defended a Ph.D. (Engineering) thesis on the topic “Development of technology for the extrusion processes under conditions of cold and hot deformation based on ascertained models of resistance to deformation”. In 2015 awarded the academic title of an associate professor.
